The Club

For those gamers who prefer their games leisurely and lazy, this high-octane, neck-breaking shooter is probably not the game for you!
The Club, by Bizarre Creations, the developers of acclaimed driving series Project Gotham Racing and arcade smash hit Geometry Wars, sets off in full throttle and never takes it's foot off the pedal until you come crashing to an undignified end some time later!

For The Club sees the third-person shooter return to it's point-scoring sweaty arcade roots and is a gun-toting slalom for survival.

You join a misfit cast of killers forced to fight for their lives in an underground blood-sport controlled by faceless, obscenely wealthy and influential elite.

Battling in abandoned locations spread across the globe these modern day gladiators with guns seek victory for a number of reasons - some for wealth, some because they have no choice and some to satisfy their insane bloodlust.

No matter the reason, the only thing that guarantees survival is their skill with a gun.

As one of eight playable characters, you will blast your way through a huge variety of challenges as you unlock new levels, game-play modes, weapons and more.

And so as not to seem shallow in this sweeping story-obsessed game era, each character has a story to tell.

You discover each contendor's true motives and intentions as they battle to dominate enemies in The Club.

The best part of this game though is the ability to earn respect online. In a range of cut-throat multiplayer modes, your aim is to shoot your way to the top of the leaderboards. Face-off with 15 real-time opponents online or battle with friends offline in four-player split-screen action.

And that's where this game becomes ever so addictive. The race to become the best. And bragging rights between friends as to who is simply the very best.

Because that's all this game is about. High scores. And who scored them!

It's all split into various game modes that might see you mowing down waves of guards in Siege or completing levels before the time runs out in Sprint. Or there's Run the Gauntlet where you simply rack up those points.

So for those gun-slingers who love the fast and the furious this is the game that was made for you.

But those who prefer the quiet life shouldn't pass this great little title up. For even those who think themselves a little inept at fast-paced shooting games can find themselves a place on those all-important leaderboards.

Great fun!
